Fair Practice Code

Last updated: July 2026

Finurge Capital is committed to conducting its business fairly, honestly and transparently. This Fair Practice Code sets out the standards we hold ourselves to as an authorised Direct Selling Agent (DSA), drawing on the spirit of the RBI's Fair Practices guidelines and the codes of conduct expected of loan sourcing intermediaries. It applies to all our employees, tele-callers and authorised representatives.

1. Applicability

This Code applies to all interactions with prospective and existing customers - across phone, digital, and in-person channels - by anyone acting on behalf of Finurge Capital.

2. Transparency & disclosure

  • We clearly identify ourselves as a DSA and disclose that loans are sanctioned by Partner Lenders, not by Finurge.
  • We disclose that our advisory is free to the customer and that we are compensated by the Partner Lender on disbursal.
  • We present the key terms of an offer - indicative rate, fees, tenure and charges - as communicated by the lender, without concealment.

3. No mis-selling

  • We recommend products based on your stated needs, eligibility and profile - never solely on the commission a product earns us.
  • We do not make false or exaggerated claims about approval, interest rates, or timelines, all of which are decided by the Partner Lender.
  • We do not coerce, pressurise or use misleading urgency to push a product.

4. Professional conduct

  • Our representatives contact customers only during reasonable hours and identify themselves and the purpose of the call.
  • We treat every customer with courtesy and respect, regardless of loan size or profile.
  • We do not engage in abusive, coercive, or unfair practices at any stage.

5. Confidentiality of information

Customer information is shared only with the Partner Lender(s) the customer chooses to apply with, and only for the purpose of sourcing and processing the application. We handle personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

6. No collection or recovery role

As a DSA, Finurge Capital sources and facilitates applications. We do not undertake loan recovery or collection. Any repayment, collection or recovery activity is carried out by the Partner Lender in accordance with the lender's own fair practices and applicable RBI guidelines.

7. Grievance redressal

We provide an accessible and time-bound grievance mechanism. If you have a concern about our conduct or service, please refer to our Grievance Redressal policy for how to raise and escalate it.

8. Non-discrimination

We serve customers fairly and do not discriminate on the basis of gender, religion, caste, language, disability or similar grounds. Product suitability is assessed only on relevant financial and eligibility criteria set by the Partner Lender.

9. Responsible advertising & solicitation

  • Our marketing communications are truthful and are not designed to mislead.
  • We do not promise guaranteed approval, specific interest rates, or outcomes that are decided by the Partner Lender.
  • We contact prospects through permitted channels and honour opt-out requests promptly.

10. Feedback & continuous improvement

We welcome feedback and use complaints and suggestions to improve our processes, training and disclosures. Staff and representatives are trained on this Code and on fair, ethical conduct.

11. Review of the Code

This Code is reviewed periodically and updated to reflect regulatory expectations and improvements in our practices. The latest version is always published on this page.
